I'm up for the channel for Kevin! And just to further push it in the algorithm, when a phone gets wet, never try to turn it on until it is dry. It can destroy it if it is not dry yet. Place it in rice for a solid day or two when it's been fully submerged like that before removing it and turning it on. Also, when burying it, make sure there is at least a half inch of rice under it, on it and on all sides to maximize the drying to every part of the phone.
